KSB Solenoid-How do I know that it is working?

According to the manual the KSB Solenoid is activated by the Air Temperature Switch. The Air Temperature Switch closes below 90* which will then send 10 volts to the KSB solenoid. I know that I have electricity at the KSB Solenoid, but how do I know if in fact the KSB solenoid is working? Is there a way of checking to make sure it is working properly?

The engine should speed up slightly when it is energized. If you can detect any change in engine sound when alternately engergizing and de-energizing the solenoid then it's working.

Good idea. Will pull the electrical connection on the KSB and see what happens!

Just as you said, engine sounds different when alternately engergizing and de-energizing the KSB solenoid. So it must be doing its thing.
