B said:i love ours, i waited two months and couldn't take it any more, i turned it up and now it smokes more than my truck! they are an awesome vehicle, no trans belt to fry. The hydrolics are very well built. They are real work horses.
Thanks,I will look at the engine for the fuel screw/govener screws. Thanks for the info. coobieReb. B said:there is a fuel screw and a govenor screw. Can't remember which one is which right now. The power is up and so is the top end. I adjusted the hydrostrat as well. I just need a turbo now.
Ian I have part of it right,I do have the Stihl saws 026 & 011. I ended up buying the Kubota at Dans farm supply in Adrain. :-lafIC Smoke said:Frank- Kubotas are quality equipment!! Hopefully you picked it up from "Dakins Outdoor Equipment" :-laf We have a 98 B2400 Loader/mower diesel, and a 05 ZD28 60" zeroturn mower diesel. Both are EXCELLENT the 2400 with 20XX hrs has proven itselt as a workhorse!!
You better have STIHL equipment in the bed of the RTV!!![]()

Thanks dieselnut59,I will see if I can find that thread. coobieDieselnut59 said:Kubotas are great. I, too tweaked the rev's and the power screw on my TG1860 mower. It has a similar 3-cylinder diesel. I love the RTV's, but have no need for a utility-only machine. I will keep my Polaris Diesel ATV until someone else offers a diesel ATV. With an atv, I can hook up a trailer for work (utility) use, then unhook the trailer and go play. My diesel atv will go around 40 mph, which is about double what a RTV will do. The RTV is definately the best of the utilities though, because of its unbeatable engine and the hydrostatic transmission. If I ever had the need for a utility, it would definately be a Kubota.
I posted a pic a while back of my Kubota mower smoke after pump "adjustment". I believe it is on the "great smoke stories" thread. My Polaris has a similar look, especially when pulling hard.
