Kudos to Mopar4Less!

I am having an intermittent problem with my drivers door lock not unlocking the door when you unlock via the key fob or interior door lock switch in the cab. It will pop up, but as soon as you let go of either button, the lock goes right back down. It is a PITA and the door latch and electric mechanism is all one unit.



Anyway, the first time this happened was at about 100k and now at almost 200k, it is happening again. The first time I took the truck to the dealer and had them do it. $120 for the door latch lock / mechanism alone! I just got of the phone with Mopar4Less and have a new latch / lock mechanism on the way for half what it cost last time about 3 years ago. With that, I did not even price it with my local dealer.



I think I have found a new place to get my Mopar Parts! I had heard of them here and had never called them until today. I am glad I did and will do so in the future!

Yep I buy almost all my Mopar stuff from them, definitely WAYYY cheaper than the dealer!



To anyone calling them up you ask for "Internet Parts" and then when you talk to the parts counter let them know you want the internet parts price because they may assume you are just a regular Joe calling in.

I bought several hundreds of dollars of under carriage parts from them when I reconditioned my very rusty 96. They did an excellent job of getting me the right hardware. I can remember my local parts guy telling me I had to go the the junkyard for dust shields for the front rotors. The mopar4less guy laughed and told me I had found a lazy parts guy! He provided me with every part I needed and maybe one wrong bolt.

Between those guys and rockauto they have saved me a bundle of cash.
