If anyone is familiar with l90 volvo front end loaders, I have one that's giving me occassional low oil pressure warnings and going into limp mode. Oil pressure sender has been changed out as well as the cooler and no change. Oil pressure has been verified 15psi@ idle and 35-45 psi off idle. This is low according to spec. Is there a pressure relief in the system somewhere that could be bleeding off oil pressure? The oil filter has been cut open and is very clean inside with no metal at all. I'm stumped... ... ... ... ... ... ..... Volvo guy says its a bad oil pump but I just don't think so at 4000 hours. ??????

A couple months ago, my dealership took a Volvo loader on trade. I don't remember the exact size, but it was roughly the same size as a 972 CAT. It had very low oil pressure as well with less than 3K hours. I didn't personally do the job, but it was only a couple bays over from where I was working. A new oil pump fixed the problem. It also got new main and rod bearings while rear differential was out of the way and the oil pan was off.

I have an L90E and I am having trouble finding a part to fix a leak between the transmission and the drive shaft. Just purchased it from an auction. Where is a good place to get parts for them??

From the Volvo dealer. I'm not aware of an alternative parts source.
