Ok, now my crew cab conversion is complete. Now is time to fix the rest. It seems like the motor is not as peppy as my 92 automatic. The motor came from a wrecking yard in Ft. Worth. The motor had 119,000 miles on it. It runs up to the gov limits pretty quick. It tops out at 85 mph. It makes 12 lbs of boost in 5th and wot. You really have to stomp it to the floor to get it to run. I know I will be bombing it soon. It just does not run as good as I expected. I know that I should start on the pump first and I need to know how you search the archives for pump mods. Do you need to buy some tools to time the pump? Where can you get them and what should I set it at? Mark

Fastmark,
I kind of have the same situation with my two trucks, the dump truck feels more powerful then my club cab pick-up. It has felt this way even before I did the mods to it. I don't know what to tell you, both my trucks seem to run just fine besides this so just letting you know you are not alone :(
