Competition Got to see a XXX hp dyno run today!

Off Roading 35/12.50R16 on first gen

Just a quick heads up, this Saturday is the 3rd round of the the LACR/DHRA drag race series at Los Angeles County Raceway. There continues to be more trucks each round and they continue to get faster. Word has it there will be at least one or 2 trucks in the 11's this weekend and a big handfull of them in the 12's. Just remember, anyone can compete for the win as this is bracket racing. There is also a quick E. T. award which more guys are going after, I think they are making a fast 4 out of it. We have a great time out at these races, real good chance to get together with everyone and shoot the breeze. Come on out. www.lacr.net

I'll be there, hopefully I'll be one of the trucks in the 12's. Hope to see some more Dodges there, we are really out number. Its something like 10 Dmax's for 1 Dodge. These Dmax's are pretty fast on top of it. See you there.

Hopefully. . . :D

Well, it was a great weekend. There was two Dodge's that ran the fastest out of 26 truck's and 22 of the trucks were Dmax's. There was Brent with his '99 std. cab twin turbo Dodge that ran a 12. flat @ 111mph(I think). Unfortunately he blew his head gasket on his second run. Then I ran a 12. 10 @ 108. 8 with my setup. Over all it was a great day for some Drag's. But I'll tell you guy's something, those Dmax's are getting pretty fast. There was one that was on my ***. Dmax doug, ran 12. 17 @ 110.

Nice run Tim, that a way to squeeze out a fast 4 win - Doug was haulin', he's on your butt for sure. Things are getting pretty quick in So Cal. We have 2 or 3 trucks flirting with the 11's and a good handful deep in the 12's. These are all street trucks, no purpose built race trucks.

Tim is right, the D max's are flying out there, If you have a fast Dodge, get it out for the next round, we're barely holding on to the fast E. T. 's. The final round, Sept. 24th and 25th is going to be a blast. We should have a lot of really fast trucks out for that one Oo.
