I need a set of ladder bars. Who makes the best set for our trucks? Has anyone tried a one-piece driveshaft on a long bed yet? How does it work? Can it really be done properly? I am so fed up with carrier bearings, I have went through 4 in the last 2 months.

Bigstick,

I switched to a one piece DS in an older Chebby PU I was hot rodding many moons ago and it worked great. Check your angles and shim the transfer case if necessary. Find a shop that specializes in drive lines to build and balance it.

One of the main reasons I got a regular cab Ram was it has a one piece drive shaft. Been down that road before and it wasn't fun.

WUSSUP?

With the bars? RT got some? Frame cracking solved?

I'm thinking I artta try some, I'm tired of the rear end jumping out on me and could use some more bite on the launch--just in case.

There is a company call FABRITECH they sell two types, 1. reg type , 2. stage II. I bought a set of the stagII's for my ford and they were very nice. I know they sell them for the dodge, cause when I purchased some tires from them I ask about some for my dually. They are sold through NATION TIRE AND WHEEL, www.NTWonline.com, the stagII's run 315, 299 for the other. And they a availibel in several colors.

NTW is a great company to buy from, I have had several trucks in the past few years that I have lifted and made major mods to. I have always had great service from them.
