Ladder racks anybody?

I saw a ladder rack on a 2nd gen dodge this week, and now I've got the bug. I've been trying to do some research and see what's out there.



I would like a rack that is sturdy, but not an overkill... mainly to haul a canoe, camping gear, etc.



I like the looks of the Adrian Steel truck rack, and some of the Xtreme racks from Go Rhino. Does anyone have either of these racks, or experience with other brands?

I have side boxes on the truck, which I want to keep, so the rack will have to fit around them. The Go Rhino Xtreme would not work with the side boxes, so it looks like I may end up trying to build something on my own. It will probably end up being some combination of the two.



I would really like to find a set of dimple dies though, to add some strength while keeping things light. I thought finding a set to borrow for a few days would be fairly easy, but so far no one even knows what I'm talking about. I found one vendor online that wants $600 for a set... a little higher than I would like to spend for one job! Here's what dimple dies look like if anyone has a lead:
