Tired of tire problems

slide out slow going in, fine going out

We are leaving for a trip to the Overton, NV for a couple weeks or so. There is a BLM dry camping area just south of the town of Overton. There is also a BLM area further south, I for the life can’t remember the name of it (maybe Government Wash?) or its location. It is fairly close to Las Vegas/ Henderson end of the lake.

Can anybody give me the name/directions to it and any other BLM camping areas along the West shore of Lake Mead?

Thank you for your help!

In case you get no responses here's a link to the Las Vegas BLM office (Southern Nevada District Office). Here's another one to info on camping(Camping).
My cousin lived in Vegas for a while and I used the BLM office for info while visiting and they were very helpful. I know you're looking for firsthand knowledge of the area but maybe these will help.

I think you are thinking of Grand Wash... . You take the Logidale exit and follow the river for a bit, right? I will be out there in about a month...

There are a few places you can turn off down the road after it turns to dirt. The road is name after an old mine (I think it might be called gold butte) if I remember right. I do have directions on my gps if this is what you are thinking of.
