Lamp out Warning

I have a bone stock 2003, 2500, HO/6Speed



The dash warning lamp for a burned out bulb is illuminated. However, none of the lights are burned out, all work. So I am guessing that I have a dirty bulb socket or corroded bulb contacts somewhere. Is there any way to determine where the fault lies or does one just have to start opening up the lamps and checking.

Some tail light harnesses have had issues with melting in 03's. You'll have to pull the tail light and check the sockets and wire to know for sure but random "Lamp Out" indications are the symptom.
I believe there's an updated part available.
