Lamp out!!!

Hey I'm new to the website. It's been pretty helpful so far. I just purchased a 2005 ram 5.9 cummins about 6 months ago and it had the lamp out warning when I purcased it. It just now began to be a problem. The passenger side running light won't light up but the turn signal works. I replaced the bulb and that wasn't the problem. Any thoughts on a possible solution. Thanks

Check the contacts with a test light and then work backwards into the wiring. I have gotten bad bulbs. Try even swapping sides with the bulbs.

Most of the time it is the circuit board within the rear lamps.

Thanks for the info. After a couple hours of tracing back the wire I found the problem. It was a frayed wire... thank God it was an easy fix
