Batman...directions for you!

on the Road Again

This guy is a true american hero and amazing. Won todays' mountain stage (again) and took over the yellow jersey as race leader. His comeback from near-death from cancer to achieve this is an inspiration to all. Any other tdr members watching the TDF? Steve W.

Go lance...go lance

haven't been watching per se on outdoor tv, but have been following the greatest cyclist in the world!! he really excels in the mountains doesn't he? now, i wonder if he could fit a cummins on his bike? ;)

On the Saturday Nite news, they showed one of the top contenders drive his bike off the course into the woods. I laughed my butt off. What happened, did sweat get in his eyes?

Doc

That was Jan Ullrich, Armstrongs' top rival for the lead. Armstrong waited for him on the road to see if Ullrich was OK rather than going ahead and gaining more time. This guy has alot of character/class. It's hard for people to comprehend how difficult (and dangerous!) these mountain stages can be without doing it or seeing it. Steve W.

I've watched more TV in the last two weeks than I do in two months - what Armstrong has done and is doing is truly an inspiration. OLN has excellent coverage. The Calgary Stampede rodeo was on the hour before and hour after too, so a double bonus.

My 1992 has been parked for over a week needing a lift pump and injection pump and I've decide to park it and watch the racing instead. Definately addicted. Now that the mountains are over, I may not spend the 2 hours a day watching.....

later, jon.
