Lanesville IN is having their Heritage Weekend truck pull 9/12/03 and there will be a 8000# unlimited & 7500# street class. Lanesville IN is off of I-64 its about 20 miles north west of Louisville Ky and about 2 hours south of Indy. Well it was a fun time, and a little exersize in the 60yd dash for your life. A gasser had soemthing break and turn towards the pit side wall and he never let off the throttle. The guardrail/concrete wall held him, but everybody still took a jogaway from the wall. The driver sat in his truck for a few minuets, then he got out and made a break for it. he was trying to run in a straight line, but he was too drunk to. He locked himself in his semi sleeper and the cops waited on him to decide to give up. I am not for sure how it ended, but his semi was back home today at noon. I drive past his shop 3 times a week. The truck was beat up, but not too bad.



As far as the open class, there was 7 trucks. A Scheide black dually from Ohio won, Kent came in 2nd, Ed West was 3rd.

Nope, they got beat fair and square.

The truck that won was Schieds twin it was a black dually with a stack out of the hood it was just as impressive as the Schieds truck, actually it was a little more impressive than the Schieds truck on Friday night.
