Went up to wacth saturday night and could not beleive my eyes two furds that actually competed with the rams, there were some Hot trucks up there, this one furd started off screaming and finished screaming in second place. The first place Ram was very impressive ,someone said it had a marine engine STRONG TRUCK,Four in the pull off finishing order on a tight wet track dodge ford, dodge ford, This was the first time that I had seen a powerjoke that strong I guess they are finally figureing them out,I would love to have equal loads and hit the road with him and see how long it could take the abuse.

Have no fear!
The Fords will start to come apart if they are bombed enough to run with the big dogs!
It must have been fun to see that many good running trucks.
Did they all have to sit at the line building boost before launch?

Wow guys, I haven't found a Dodge to compete with me yet at truck pulls!! I guess there aren't that many people here that build diesel Dodges, I don't know why as it is definately cheaper to do and you get great power out of them.

About running with the big dogs, mine holds it's own very well. Problem is keeping the rest of the driveline from breaking. U-joints and companion flanges don't hold up well at truck pulls with LPG and 38" tires!!

Sneizer,You should come up to Ky,IN,or Ill,andyou will find the competion you are looking for,I have only seen 1 ford that would pull with the Cummins, but on the road with the camper I have not seen any that would pull the grades with me. As to the other reply they would tighten the hitch, take the rpm up and let her rip,the truck we went to cheer for could not get the Mcloid clutch to hold at the start and lost his speed early. It appeared that they may have been using a lower gear as the ground speed was slower,we usually pull in third/low which equates to about 18 mph on the govenor. It was a good pull that showed how many strong trucks there are out there now of both brands and maybe we will see a Chevy duramax soon.

Hey Sneezer,

You coming to the Scheid Rally? There will be plenty of Dodges there to put that frod in it's place. #ad

Hey sniezer, we were down at the Hudsonville MI pulls and got to jawing with a friend who builds pulling engines for the farm stock class. Said there is a real strong f brand out here in west michigan really eating up the competition. Have you run up agin this truck in your travels?? Same friend mentioned that in rebuilding some f brand ps engines he is finding fluid at 30 thousandths over. He showed me a stripped down ps block. There isn't a whole lot holding the bottom end together.

. I have not heard of the Ftruck from the west side of the state. I have a buddy here that is running a H-max 400HP kit on his 96 F350 along with a modified ATS propane system. At the strip he runs 14. 8's with slicks. He usually gets me by a few feet and takes care of the normal "street legal" 7000 lb class guys. You know the type I am talking about that bring their "street legal" gas engine trucks to the pulls on trailers. About the only thing "street legal" is the license plate on them.

Running normal P265-75R-16 tires on my truck makes it very competitive. I usually hit 4-5 truck pulls a summer around my area. There was a guy around here with a 97 Dodge 4x4 12 valve with TST components running 40 PSI of boost. That truck is fast as hell on the street, he just can't hook up at the truck pulls without frying his clutch.

This is not a war, this is all American BS!! To the real truck people, and the working class, ripping on the other guy is part of daily routine! The yuppies who are buying these trucks because they are cool, don't understand this.
I do not subscribe to the PC. world!
