If I remember right, the trucks above the Laramie level, all get the big letter grill......at least for 2016 YM they did.

I don't believe that's right. All of the longhorns I shopped had the cross hair grille. I think that must be a dealer add on.

Nope, the truck in my signature has the crosshair grille, but the Longhorns did get the "faux-Bentley" chrome mesh background behind the crossbars. The oddball grille came on the Limiteds.

Its fugly lookin. I think my Laramie Longhorn grill looks like twisted barb wire. I like it. I wouldn't change it. Just saying.

When ordering, the Limited is not a model or trim level. The Limited Package is an option on a Longhorn.

It does look like a Limited grille was swapped onto a Longhorn. I guess someone buying a Limited wanted a crosshair grille, so grilles were swapped.

I like the Limited grille, but not so much on the "RAM" tailgate.

Actually ordering is different than Build and Price.

I did a "build" (not on the website) with three different dealers.

You are right about Limited being a trim level on the website's "Build and Price" tool, but the window sticker on a Limited will say it is a Longhorn.

So when you are looking at trucks on some dealer's websites, a Limited might be called a Longhorn. That is the point of what I was trying to say.
