Larger Injection Lines

I have fooled around some in tractor pulling with a good friend. When they turn those P-pumps up so much over stock they have to have larger injection lines to flow the fuel. Makes sense to me, when irrigating crops larger lines flow more and take less work to keep pressure at the other end. Does anyone have any of these or tried it? It could be a possible cure for the Shudders.
