Larger transmission pan

I will be due for a transmission fluid change soon. When I do, I plan to change the pan to a larger one. I read in some earlier posts that the B&M , from Geno's , had a problem in that the spacer was not the proper size so that the filter did not go into the fluid far enough to work properly. Is this still true? Is there any real difference between the Mag Hytec and the B&M(B&M less expensive). Also,are there any problems installing a Mag Hytec rear cover on a 1999 dooley 4 WD so far as clearances go?

The Mag Hytec is a very good cover and you will like it. If you dig back in the product forum you will find Bill Kondolay's post on it and why he recommends it. Bill is the transmission guru at BD. You can check out the cover at www.mag-hytec.com
