last chance '03 or '04

I've got a good price on ordering an '03 3500, and a good price on my trade. Got to decide quick, any reason to hold out for a 2004? I'm sure the prices will go up, although I've heard the rumors that horse power may increase as well.



I'm concerned about the EGR changes mandated by the EPA. While I'm not well versed in diesels (yet), when these requirements hit the outboard motor industry last year, there were all kinds of problems among the different manufacturers. Some are still being worked out.



Seems like Dodge is being rather quiet concerning the '04 changes.

Per other changes, the 04 engine changes shouldnt hit till Jan 1 04. The rebates now may not be avail next month so the only thing that MAY change is the options or the way they are "grouped".



Had the same decision and went with the current. Only thing that MAY happen is the rebates get better and I would make out on that. $ down protects current rebate(s).
