Last night's "Rides"

Who watched last nights episode of Rides? It was awesome. The 3 Hemi 'Cudas, Joe Rogan's "Sick Fish" 'Cuda, Jay Leno's wild Toronado, Tim Allen's insane '56 Ford pickup (yeah, it's got a HEMI!), that 1907 Rolls Royce The Silver Ghost! Unbelievable cars. That Rolls is insured for 40 MILLION dollars!



Jay Leno is my car guy hero. His Toronado and his Buick Roadmaster are awesome. I guess that's what an unlimited car budget can do in the right hands. He's a serious car nut with the resources to make his dreams come true.

One of the Rides episodes showed the building of "Sick Fish" that car is unreal.

The Toronado is way cool. When I was in college I had a '76 but there was one like Jay's that was just sitting in a driveway. I always wanted to stop and ask about it but I didn't have the space to bring it home.



Craig, I think you and Christopher need to build a shop out back and start building your own

If I had your money or Jay Leno's, I would build my own dream car . Actually several of 'em!

Jay Leno is a nice guy, too. I was at a Mopar show in LA a couple years ago where he usually makes an appearance. I saw him get swarmed by folks for autographs and handshakes, and it took him 10 minutes to get 40 yards, to where I was. I asked him if he'd mind taking a picture with me, and he put his arm around my shoulder and acted like I was his best friend. What a great guy. It's gotta be tough not being able to go anywhere and not get a second of privacy.
