Attention: TDR Forum Junkies

As MANY of you are aware there were some problems with the website last week! After many months of flawless operation it decided to crash when I was at the TDR nationals!! Worst thing was that I didn't have computer access to fix it! I was on my cell phone for approximately 2 hours on thursday and friday trying to walk other people through getting the site back up and running. Thanks go to John Allman who is our FreeBSD consultant and to Ken who was the webmaster previously and is still on call for when I am not available for their assistance in getting it back up.
I'm still researching why the master server went down. The good news is that the slave server had everything backed up so nothing should have been lost. I will be flying down to Atlanta in early september and will be setting the servers up so that the slave can take over if the master server goes down (after approximately 11 minutes) - so we shouldn't have a problem like this in the future.
I had to down the forums for 15 minutes today to bring the slave server back up current with the master so if you had troubles getting on around 4:00pm eastern you now know why.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I'm doing my best to keep the site up 24/7.
