Late cab on early truck

I have a 1967 W300 that I consider fitting with a later cab, from the 1993 and older style truck.



Do any of you have any experience with that, or do you have any recommendations as to a cab to use?

Some are doing a crew-cab conversion. They were making them OEM 'til the '80s sometime.

The frames were changed quite a bit between the 71 and 72 when the trucks went to independent front suspension. The older pre 71's had close to a flat frame. The 72+ models have a big step up for the front suspension. This step starts under the cab.



The cab will most likely be high off the frame with this swap.
