Late model body on 5.9 Chassis?

I don't know how difficult this would be or if it is even possible, but if one were to install/swap a late model cab & box on a pre-dpf (5.9 model) chassis which included all the 5.9 wiring / ECM & driveline, how would the model year be determined?

Just buy a 2013 or newer 3500. Snoking
