I've read of people putting longer leafs in the back for a smoother ride, and people asking about coil suspension on a first gen. So here ya go. I would definately keep the first gen frontend over that vacuum operated crap that came in those trucks, but you could rob all the brackets, suspension parts and rear end and adapt them into a first gen. The starting bid is a little steep for doing something like that. You could probably find a wrecked truck alot cheaper and get the same parts.

Hadnt thought about installing the longer leafs (leaves?).
