latest smarty programs??

those that have been running the smarty for a while, how do you like the latest program compared to the old?? I am running v4. 05a d2. 05a are you seeing better MPG over the old?? that is prolly my biggest want. what are the difference in the new one?

I am running the software dated 12/13/07, aftermarket turbo/stock injector program, sw#9, wild tm.



Driving manners are perfect, no glitches... . cruise control still surges. Drove to Helena MT awhile back, from Spokane, just a bit over 300 miles, 3 mountain passes, snow, ice, all the good stuff, still ran about 70/75 mph most of the way.



I filled my tank as soon as I arrived in Helena, I do not remember the exact amount of fuel it took, right off the top of my head, but, hand calculated I bested 18 mpg. Smarty on SW#9.



If you are wondering about power? I just dynoed last week, after injector install, Smarty sw#9, wild tm, EZ 2, TST off. What's in my sig . Jess

JJPage you should have tried the TST turned on slightly. I was on Floor-it's dyno testing a smarty and with the tst on 2-0 I picked up 40 HP. My EZ was unhooked at the time also.

I know, you are right, I still have plenty of rail pressure. But right now, without the TST, my egt's are managable. With the TST in the mix I believe I could get fairly close to 600hp on a dyno, but I would not be able to utilize that power, because my egt's would go through the roof.
