Latest TDR magazine cover

Maybe this has been covered (pun intended) already, but why is there a gasser on the latest cover of the TDR? I could have sent a picture of my rig for a cover if they were running short of diesels.

I'd gladly take pics of brand new cummins trucks since i work at a dealer out in the country. I bet I could get some nice shots.

I would rather see ANY Cummins Dodge. Not quite sure of the thought process. Maybe the powers to be can ask the question from the magazine side??

Seems like with thousands of photos of members trucks there should be no need to use Dodge photos.

I agree. What about a contest or "Beauty Pageant" to get a reader's rig on the cover??

GOOD idea above - how about a cover-photo contest that clearly outlines the parameters for size, type and quality of the submitted photos, to be considered as cover material for future editions. Maybe even some sort of prize for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners - the rest just hafta settle for the fame and fortune of seeing their trucks on future covers...

... and how about seperate contests for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen. trucks.

I like the idea of a contest for a cover shot. But, who would judge? I think we have raised a big enough stink to keep any gasser off the cover in the future.
