Taking some advice from others on this site I re-positioned the spacers on the rear differantial. What led to this is a noticable launch shudder, and for lack of better words, a power shiver that was occuring while at moderate speed (40 to 65 ) after something like a small bump. The best I can explain it is that it felt like a launch shudder , but at speed , and it was always there ,just lurking in the background. Unless the throttle was lessened , it was the next bump or expansion joint that would start one. The good news is that it is gone and to beat the band the 1500/1600 vibration is gone too. After just changing the spacers
. Now comes the question, what is available to raise the rear of the truck whithout spacers. This is due to wanting to remove the overload spring and use a mini-pack (maybe T-REX) for a progresive rate? The last thing I'd like to say is, PULL ONE AND ONLY ONE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE SPRING PAK OUT AT A TIME
,YES, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first side took two hours and the secound side took 20 minutes Oo. Anyone wanting more info on how much of a ride improvement this made ,feel free to P. M. me.
