Lead source

Does anyone know where I can get sheet lead?? Preferrable in the the midwest. I am about to do a noise kill project and from doing a search lead seems to be pretty good at killing the noise. I have a friend who owns a plumbing business and none of his suppliers can get the stuff. Anyone have a source??

I purchase lead for the same type of project I did a search of companies that sell roofing supplies. It is common for them to have and not very expesive.
