Sorry for the negitive tone of this post but im loosing my cool with this truck.
I cant believe how fast this truck is falling apart.
38k and its leaking between transfer and auto trans?
Trans seems full and transfer is down a few oz so i assume its the seal at front of transfer on the input shaft. I have been studying the manual and cant see a seal there?

Is this another common failure with these dam rigs. #@$%!

The fluid is on the transfer case side of the shaft and isn't dripping off the transmission? I had a coolant leak from the hose that connects the motor to the heater core that dripped so as to look like it was coming from the back of the transmission. The orange coolant isn't very orange in small quantities so it took some time to trace it back to the source. Of course if your leak is red fluid... Disregard!!!!

Its red atf 4 for sure.
Transfer was down 1/2 qt.
Vent is all clear.
Wish it was the small hose on the motor above the turbo you are are talking about. (that was easy to fix last year)
I wiped up all fluid and believe its comming from between the 2 cases where transfer bolts to tail shaft of trans. (bolts seem tight)

I took a quick look in the FSM. It looks like you covered the bases with your troubleshooting. The only thing listed after checking to see if the case is overfilled or the vent blocked is the seals.

I had the same problem with my 2005, mine was the rear trans seal, it was covered under the 7/70 warrentee, cost was a $100, no more leak

Yep im luckey to have 3year 36k and it failed at 38k.
It was a bear of a job to do.
That transfer was heavy and siezed to the transmission:(
