Hey guy's has anyone had fuel leaking from under the back side of the afc kinda under the banjo bolt on the back with the hard line going to it. My truck has fuel pouring out from a rubber 90 degree fitting and it comes out fast, anyone had any experience with this?

Hey Joe... . yes that problem is familiar...

Inside the AFC housing is were the guide pin is located. This pin is what rides up and down on the AFC cone.

If the tiny o-ring inside wears out it will allow fuel from the low pressure side of the pump to leak into the AFC chamber... .

To fix this you'll need to pull the pump top off, remove the little metal 'cage and o-ring' and replace it with a new one.

Basically it's very similar to installing a new governor spring in terms of pump top removal/install... the difference is the removal of the o-ring and the install of a new one...

Thank's for the help PB,the pump shop has the truck right now. I'll see if maybe they can do a top end rebuild. I was hoping it was something simple like that my FSM says pretty much nothing about the VE pump. IF they do the toop end I'm thinking about atleast getting a 3200 rpm govenor spring put in ,hopefully they can get it done this week for a couple hundred bucks.
