just replaced my fuel filter i can not get it to stop leaking around top of canister can i by pass fuel filter with an inline filter i need truck as of yesterday
Mine is a 3rd gen so I'm not sure if ours is the same or not. But did you recheck the o-ring to see that it is not nicked or torn. You might pull the filter out and make sure that nothing is under the filter, thus not allowing the filter to properly seat. It could be holding the cap too high for the o-ring to seat.
