Leaking lift pump

I had to replace 03 lift pump, after about 500 miles it started to leak. I replaced the o-ring has it had a small tear in it. Well its leaking again, anyone have a good suggestions on the install and how to keep it from leaking.

Lube the o-ring prior to install, when you insert the lift pump into the fuel filter canister, use a rocking motion, do not try and shove it straight in. Have a little patience, you will feel it snap in.



I would also check the canister for any pieces of the old o-ring... use a mirror and flashlight. Jess
