Leaking passenger side battery

The driver's side just hasn't got around to it yet. That happended to me, passenger side and then the driver's side. I needed new batteries.

Finally needed new batteries Joe? You beat me by about 5 months, you might have the record for the longest lived stock batteries.

12,00 miles and just had mine replaced (did the warrantee work itself at home brought 'em the bad Batt) Make sure when u get home to pull the battery out and lay down a bed of baking soda and rince the area clean with hot water! then sprinkle more down and put the batt back in place. what u cant see is all the acid that had dripped down the fender underneaththe tray!! clean it asap

The local 5 Star dealer here said they've never had a problem with leaking Ram batteries before. Do you think they were pulling my leg?

I've seen a couple of posts indicating the passenger side battery on thier cummins ram leaked acid. How many other ram owners have experienced this? Any ideas as to why the passenger side leaks as opposed to the driver's side?
