Taking my truck back to the dealer for the third time with a leaking timing chain cover. Any one have this problem or is it a bad dealer mechanic? Just curious.

There is no timing chain cover. You must mean cover in the front gear case. It is sealed with silicone, not a gasket. I had mine off a few times on 06. Once to do the cam install. I didn't replace the crank seal at the time, and it leaked. So I had to take it off again and put in a new crank seal, which should be done anytime the cover is removed.

There is a timing gear cover and a timing gear "housing" (cant think of the name) to block gasket. Usually that is what leaked on the 3rd gens.

My '05 had a leak on the front gear cover behind and below the fan mount. Had to pull the fan and mount to get to the leak. Sealed it back up with RTV on the outside of the cover. All is good. Fan clutch was bad, so we replaced that while we were in there too.
