I just installed a Piers HX-35 and had a terrible time with a persistent oil leak at the drain tube. After removing and reinstalling several times I finally bought some high temp sealant to coat the gasket. While inspecting the face of the tube for imperfections, I found that there was a stress crack in the tube junction were the flange is. Must be a stress crack from the prior turbo install not being clocked right. I was able to weld the crack and so far no leak. This saved a replacement cost of $50. 00 from cumins. So make sure to get the turbo clocked right and watch out for this should you have any oil leaks in this area. It may not just be the seal.
