I have a VP-44 that works great but has a fuel leak. Thought that the plugs in the side of the housing were leaking, replaced them along with new seals. It still leaks fuel, checked all the injector lines and didn't find any fuel there. Looks like it might be leaking between the main shell and the rear cover. This is a fairly low mileage pump and I would really to repair it if possible. There is not s shop within a few hundred miles that can run it on a stand and tell me anything. Does anyone know if there are seals that seal the injector line fittings inside the end plate? I have seen seal kits for these pumps on EBay but they all state that the kit doesn't have instructions. Have seen posts where individuals have rebuilt their own and had success with it. If anyone has an idea what to do to stop this leak, please advise.

how much fuel is leaking? and is it a steady stream or does it pulse with injection cycles? you could have a cracked inj. line. if it is not an inj. line, I have seen the banjo fittings on the feed and return lines leak and sometimes do not want to seal back up, especially if you have inadvertently tweeked the line between the filter and Inj pump
