leaks in windshield

Has anyone had the displeasure of having thier winshield leak ? my truck only has 1500 miles on it#@$%! I brought it back to the dealer today thank god for the husky liner floor mats there must have been a quart of water in them the leak was dripping through the driver and passenger grab handles in the cab. i have a mega cab that is leaking thru right side grab handle just got it back from dealer yesterday but it would not leak for them ,ill bring it back when it rains

Hi, I've seen this problem with the 04 cab lights and they put out new seals for them. I havn't seen anything for leaks so far on the newer trucks, but our skies have been blue for months. If any of my customers trucks are leaking, believe me, I hear about it.

I don't know if it is an actual TSB, but the problem is NOT the windshield. I had the same issue on my Megacab. The issue is an improperly sealed door seal. You need to take it back to the dealer and have them fix the seal. The original seal are only screwed on. It will leak more than you expect if it is not fixed.

You can replicate the issue by pouring water along the top of the door seal when the truck is level or the front end is lower so that the water drains forward.

The service tech mentioned something about the drain tube from the moonroof possibly being clogged or kinked when I dropped off the truck. When I picked the truck up they said the drain and moonroof were fine it was just the door seals.
