Hi the TDR dudes

I just changed ou my injector pump and cant get the injector lines to reseal at the head ends. Whats the trick, or tricks. I dont just want to keep torking till somthing breaks. Any and all advice welcome.

Thanks

Mike W.

Could be the o-rings on the fuel tubes that connect the injestion lines to the injector. they will leat and make it look like the lines are leakin but its commin out arround the line nut.

dont keep tightening, you will most likely worsen the problem. Try backing each nut off and then retighten it. 36 ftlbs is the torque if i remember, so were not talking super tight. if that does not fix it, you may need to replace the crossover tubes.

Thanks for the feed back.

I have already done the loosen retighten thing. this is my second new pump maybe the feed tubes are shot and ill need to get new ones. Ill cummins NW tomarrow and get their input.

Yeah, they could be shot maybe got tightened a little too much once. I have had my lines off about a dozen times, and the last set of injectors i put in, i had to fiddle with 2 of the lines a bit to stop the drip. Next time the lines come off, i am going to replace the tubes.
