I have been half-heartedly looking for a set of powered, leather seats for my 2001 Quad-cab, 2500, CTD. I have 2 questions. 1) How much is a reasonable amount to pay for a set and 2) how hard are they to install if they are the heated kind? If anybody knows of a set, feel free to send me a message!!

I don't have an answer for your first question but I believe that it is a simple plug and play affair if you have all the relays, switches and stuff that goes with them. Don't forget that the doorpanels also have to be changed for the leather inserts in them.

easy install....

If you already have power seats, install is a snap. Took me and a friend about 30-45 minutes to swap mine out. then just put all the plugs back in place as the plugs for 1998-2002 are all the same. Good luck, I paid about $400 for mine, but got a deal on them.

How hard would it be to add heat to my 99 with leather? How much would a replacement seat in tan cost to replace the power drivers side. Not the whole seat, just the part you set on. Mine is getting a little worn.

Thanks,

Greg
