Led bulbs

Where is everyone getting their LED Bulbs from. I want to start changing them out as need too. Any help would be great... . TIA, Scott

I will more than likely be changing all my lights to LED because I can not find all of the bulbs. If you go to Putcosales.com and autotrucktoys.com they have very nice looking replacement LED lights. IF you look for the rear brake lights they are there as well.

I had to put "load resistors" on mine when I put LED lights on my '03 flatbed. I think the newer trucks were supposed to have this issue worked out. Mine gave the "lamp out" indicator and fast flash until I added the resistors.

I want to get LED bulbs for my cab clearance lights on my '96 and my '03. Does anyone have a source for these? I want to swap just the bulb and keep the fixture, as I do not like the cheap chinese aftermarket lights.

IIRC they are just a standard 194 wedge base bulb but I could be wrong. I think any one from the sites listed above would work. My overheads are recons and my truck didn't originaly come with them however the plugin on the pigtail of the recons looked like a 194.

I just replaced my tail light asys (one was broken) with LED ones from a company called RECON they offer everything for our trucks direct plug and play no problem with the lights flashing too fast or he computer thinking thata bulb is out. They were aprox $250 for the set, well worth the money... . Maybe GINOS should look into carrying them???

Every light I have is l. e. d. My tail lights and roof lights came as a complete assembly, plug and play. Clearance lights I picked up from led-r-us the others were just bulb replacement my third brake light will be next on my list. Recon is a good source but, watch their prices. Ebay is another good source for tail light assemblies.

I have been running LED lights for years on my flatbed on my '96. I love them. These are the truck type, with the rubber grommets around them. I will look into the cab clearance light bulbs. Thanks for the info!
