Andy,
The absolute best upgrade that I have seen are the head lights that Ozy has on his truck. I will nudge him so that he can fill you in. Those work really well and don't blind other drivers....he followed me to the house one night and they were not obnoxious in my rear view mirror at all.

Replaced both headlight housings on my 03 with Depot brand like Geno's carries and added Sylvania bulbs, much brighter than oem.

I run the same as OZY. Great lights, having some issue with water getting into a connector and having brights come on by themselves but i think its due to placement/orientation of module/connector more than anything.

Hi Andy, hi Mike

I got this set from Retroshop, these are OEM quality Xenons, sure not cheap but worth every dollar.

https://shop.retroshop.us/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=02-05.RETRO

Everything is included in the set to make them work flawless in our trucks.

The Light Pattern is the European style, if one doesnt know, it is asymmetric and light up the ditch farther then the center line of the road.

And yes the sell for Gen4 also.
Thanks! They look really nice, but pricey. I'd like to find something a little less if possible.

I have been interested in a quality LED headlight. I find it interesting that this site has no reviews with the 9007 bulb, no before and after light pattern comparisons, but they do have a video that shows a bulb operating while it is immersed in water. I don't know about you, but I have never had a bulb that failed because of water immersion.

I would pay the price for this LED bulb if I could be shown the true effectiveness of this bulb in a actual application.

My son is into the LED Head Lights for Ram trucks and talk me into a set for my 2008 truck. The LED light replaces the standard blub and the number I have for the LED is H13. I am also installing LED Fog lamps on my truck too I don't have the light kit handy at the moment. The brand is LUMAWERX Advance Lighting Solutions. It is one of his suppliers for his part time Diesel Performance Business. I have not installed them as of yet, I will probably install them over the weekend with his help at his shop. I will ask him for the supplier name and location at that time, or you might be able to find that brand on the inter-net.

My recollection is that there was such a comparison on the Cummins Forum a few years back and that was what got me to make the purchase. Problem is that I can' remember what bulb was used in the comparison. I'm also not sure what the difference is between the various bulbs (9007 v H13) but I do recall that those that were purchasing were going for the 70 watt version. When I first installed my H13 70 watt bulbs I thought wow I'm going to get flashed because it throws light both far and wide to the point I don't even bother using my high beams. I run a 200 mile stretch of two lane highway on a regular basis and rarely get flashed and when I do it's because I have my RZR on the flatbed (which could be solved with an adjustment). And the white light makes the stock bulbs light look yellow! I also have four 4" Rigid LED off road lights (two spot and two flood) on my Buckstop bumper and when I turn them on it does not provide much additional white light on the headlight pattern, just extended white light wider and a lot farther. I hope that helps.

I hope that helps.

I was being a bit sarcastic. I appreciate you posting your observations. I have a second generation truck and I have done the sports headlight modification with relays set up like OEM. The lighting is good and I will just have to wait until I can get some good feedback for LED's for my application. I don't want to experiment by buying different bulbs, I just want to purchase a good quality bulb that puts the beam where it should be and does not impact oncoming traffic.
