LED light problems

I just installed a headache rack with LED lights and when the blinker is on they don't quite blink at the same time, what's the problem?

I assume that what you are seeing is the fact that LEDs are a "instant on and instant off with the power. Incandecent lights have to heat up with the application of power to emit light, then cool off after the power is interupted to stop emmiting light. This will be normal in any application when you mix LEDs with regular lights, be it a vehicle or your Christmas tree.

Gonzo you are exactly right, what can I do to change the incadescent in the tailights to LED's?

I assume that if you want to change your tail lights to LEDs the correct way is to buy a complete tail light assembly Genos has them in stock. . I have tried changing just the bulbs and was unhappy with the look.



As a side note when I changed my 04 to LEDs the warning "Light out" on the dash came on and would only go off when I installed resistors in the lines that fed the lights. Apparently the system has a preset threshold of amp draw that was more than the draw of the LEDs that I used. However my 2013 truck accepted the installation of LEDs with no problem.
