LED Lights

Showing my lack of knowledge of anything electrical.
Am getting ready to put new lights on an old boat trailer. Want to put LED's on the trailer. My truck is a 2005 but have hopes of a new truck in the future. With the intricate (or so it seems to me) electrical systems on the current model trucks, will LED's (stop, turn, running, side clearance) on a boat trailer cause any issues on a 2014 truck?
