I asked at another forum and didnt get much help so ill try the helpers on the tdr site?iwould like to convert the exterior lights on several of my cars to led. I have bought a couple types off of ebay but just arent as bright as i think they should be. can anyone recommend a seller of good bright high quality led for the auto use?thanks robert

I've got a couple of led flashlights and they last a long time but they don't shine very far or as bright . I think the head lamps are the same way. hope I'm wrong but I don't think so.

Im not looking for headlights just the other exterior(license plate, tail lights ect... . ) i like to look of the leds. thanks for the help any more would be great!!thanks robert

mishkaya got his where i get mine. you can replace every light on the truck with led except the head light and fog light. they will be brighter than stock you do not say what year truck you have. you need to fill out your sig. the tail light socket board has to be modified on the cr because of how they routed the ground wire to the socket's.

Every light on my truck is L. E. D. Tail lights are a complete housing, cab clearance from Recon and clearance lights on fenders and tailgate were a direct replacement. My corner lamps up front I just slipped a L. E. D bulb in the factory housing.

Need to remember LED's are more "directional" then a standard incandesent bulb. In other words, if you just want to replace the bulb only, and use the old housing, unless you are in a direct line of sight, they may actually be harder to see.

Im sorry about the sig. Its a 2500 quad cab 4wd. Im looking for a nice bright wide ray of light like the ones on say the rear for license plates of the new lexus's!

There must have been a change at some time I have not had a single issue with the hyper flash. My turn signals work like they always have.

SHobbs - you probably already have logic–controlled flashers. Since the flash pulse is internally generated they are immune to the type of load attached to them - will not affect the flash rate.

I have the Recon cab and marker LED's they look black in the daylight. Have the LED strips down both sides of the running boards and at the bottom of the tail gate. The sides blink with the blinker and light up when you hit the brakes.
