LED Tail light / brake light bulbs

Sorry if this has been covered.

1) Are they available / possible?
2) From some research, I see mention of adding resistors. Not shure what this is about.
3) Is the "Lamp Out indicator OK with this?

1) yes, I've seen several types.
2) see #3. The resistors put enough load on the circuit to keep the Lamp Out indicator happy (usually).

I believe the resistor also keeps the flasher happy

The market place for replacement LED bulbs is pretty large, so when you search make sure that you get "can bus", no error LED's, and you should be good. Headlight Revolution is a pretty good place to look as well. Over time I have changed out just about every bulb with a LED, from license plate lights to the under hood light. Please don't ask me the brands or part numbers, that would take me way too long to find all the info. I should have recorded the numbers for future reference, but unfortunately I didn't.
