Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) LED Taillights on 01 2500

I saw a thread a while back for someone running led taillights. dose anyone have any info?

I used the red led lamps - what a mistake. The red lens on the factory tail fixture would filter the red light fromt the led and mad the stops less visable. I think the trick is to get clear lamps or a clear lenz fixture. Make sense? Of you'll have to use a false load as the leds use so little voltage that the systems sneses a bulb out and they blink too fast.
