I have done some searches and thought it was as simple as replacing the tail light circut board and the bulbs. I have checked the fuses and put di-electric grease on as well. The right side works just fine and the problem is just with the left side rear.

The lamp out indicator flashes with the turn signal and comes on when the brakes are applied, but then goes off when you let off brake or turn signals are off. When the brake is applied the brake light lights up, but there is some current going to both other bulbs in the circut as well. When both the turn signal and brakes are applied at the same time the turn signal stops flashing and there is some current going to the reverse lights then too. Any help is appreciated.

I got into the wiring yesterday and determined it was a grounding issue. Once I knew which wire it was I started from the connector that plugs into the tail light and found the problem right away. When I would plug in the tail light it would push the ground wire terminal back inside the connector and when I pulled the light out/off the terminal would get pulled back to the front of the connector. Easy fix once I actually got in there. It is just weird that it happened all of a sudden without taking the tail lights apart for a few years.
