I am getting a left rear turn signal bulb out message sometimes. The indicator flashes fast and the turn signal on the mirror blinks fast, but the front and rear turn signals blink normally. I saw some prior discussion about this (2019 timeframe) and one of the possibilities was the Center Brake light being out, but it seems to light fine. Any thoughts?

Truck is a 2016 2500 Laramie 2wd

Thanks

John

Hello, I had the same issue and it was a few of the led's in the housing were going bad and were dimmer than the others. Got a new taillight and fixed the issue.

replace the bulb after cleaning up and squeeze in the connection points so the bulb gets a good grip... thats what I did and it repaired the intermittent warning about a t signal being out.

I’ll try reseating the. Stop light bulb and see what happens. (This is the bulb you were referring to correct?).

I replaced the center stop light bulb, tried to reseat all the connections, but no joy. Heading out to work last week, my wife happened to be following me and observed about 5 or so of the LEDs in the taillamp having a mind of their own. Sometimes they lit with the others, sometimes half bright, sometimes opposite of the others (not sure how that can happen). I went ahead and ordered an replacement tail light assembly from GENOs. Funny thing is that I have not gotten the lamp out since I ordered the replacement :)

One question for when it comes in...how do I release the connector on the housing? (I seem to recall figuring out a similar connector on my prior 2011, but can't remember how). This is the electrical connector with a Red clip that needs to be slid out to be able to release the connector but I can't seem to get it to slide out. I just want to be ready for when the replacement comes in.

Thanks

John

Some times you gotta have really strong (or numb) thumbs.
