Left turn signal fast (intermittent)

Howdy, everybody.
For the last couple of months my left rear signal has had spells where it would cycle fast.
2016 1500 Laramie with LED signals.
When it’s working correctly, all 15 red LEDs illuminate. When it cycles fast, one column of 5 stays dark while only 10 light up.

It’s a sealed unit, so I can’t get inside the housing to secure any possible loose connections.
Anyone else have this issue?

Don't have that setup, but from what I have dealt with on LED lights, there is a connection that has become loose. Not much that you can due with a sealed unit other then to break seal and try to repair or just replace. How many wires go into the light? Is it possible that a wire isn't getting power before going into the lamp? Sounds like it's a ground trace may have broken inside lamp. Good luck on the hunt.

----Was afraid you (or somebody) might say that... the fixture just has the standard 3 or 4-wire pigtail like its incandescent counterparts in other trim-level packages..

know what's knocking the cheese off my cracker besides this, though? Whole LED package, right? Not the license-plate bulbs. They're incandescent. WHYYYYYYY?

With the choice of adhesives today, I'd be splitting it apart to try and fix all well knowing you may need new assembly. Doesn't surprise me that they would mix bulb types! If you change to LED bulbs on tag lamp, you might trip CEL. On AlfaOBD that I have, there's an option to change settings for LED bulbs so that bulb out message doesn't come on. Sorry I went where you were hoping not to go. Already broken, so why not! Good luck.
