Tragic motorcycle accident

Anyone have any experience with Lenco Troll'n Tabs ?

I have a Rinker Festiva 235 which has an 8'6" beam and weighs in at around 3100lbs. I was thinking about adding a little kicker for trolling but don't really want the bracket and motor bolted to my swim platform. Maybe these are the answer or maybe they're garbage, they look like a pretty slick idea. Any thoughts.

Thanks

Mike

Use an electric thruster for trolling? I dont believe that is the intended use. These are thrusters, for quieter manuevering in tight quarters, not so much continued trolling. Even with extra batteries ( I wouldnt run off the engine or house battery), now you are adding more weight to the boat, taxing the charging system more ( probably a 55/60 amp alt?) and going into the wind or current- you will be lucky to stand still. Do you ski or have little ones that can contact the unit either on land or in the water? Sorry I am a sceptic-see ya on the h2o
