How long is the Megacab Longbed Conversion, assuming stock bumpers??

I did not find any dimensions on their website.

I know they make sliding 5th wheel hitches for short bed trucks. Does anyone make a sliding gooseneck hitch?? Maybe a hitch that slides and has the 5th wheel and gooseneck attachement??

Colbert Mfg of Salt Lake City intoduced a new set up like this as a combo-unit this year and B&W hitches has the same thing. Colbert has a manual "lock-sliding" hitch and Pull Rite has the slider which is automatic. Of which you are a ware of.

I have not seen a gooseneck slider. You could concider a pin extension plate. to get you a little further a way from the cab, if this is the problem.

No problem. I just looked at my 07 dealer brochure and took the megacab total length, subtracted the shortbox length, and added the longbox length. You lookin at getting one or doin the conversion?

It would fit in my garage with just under a foot to spare. I'd have to be careful parking it. I would really like the added room of the Mega but have to be able to pull my gooseneck and maybe a new purchase 5th. wheel.



I emailed Pullrite about their listing of a gooseneck slider attachment that goes with their 5th wheel slider. If that was practical, I could live with the short bed. We will see what they say. I'd trade the bed space for cab space only if it would work with my trailer.



I'm really in no rush. I want to see what the 09 model change brings.
